As I wrote previously, I had been appointed Director of Rampersad's General Electrical Engineering Limited. Since that time I went to Trinidad to assess the company and in doing so found many things that I believe to be misfeasances (at best). I found that the predecessor company had many issues - issues that directly impact my opinion on how tenable the LLC would be given that the LLC would inherit problems from the present sole proprietorship.
As such, I tendered my resignation to the Corporate Secretary and am no longer associated with Rampersad's General Electrical Engineering in the present and in future instantiations of it. It was a difficult decision to come to given the family history with the company; the founding by my paternal grandfather and the contributions of blood, sweat and tears by my father and his brothers, as well as that of my cousins and myself.
Nothing lasts forever.
