my mom is a pessimest and wont even go in as a cosigner for an apartment for me for fear of my failure. She's not a risk taker. I'm not an optimist, but a realist. I've taken risks... and I've failed. But if you don't fail at something, there is no lesson to be learned.
...The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; and the realist adjusts the sails...
