Police on Coffee Street, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago: Crime or Hunger?

Well, this evening between 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Police arrived - in force - on Coffee Street, near Marryat Street (across the street from Kentucky Fried Chicken, near Steve's Unique Bakery). Apparently something happened - at least 3 vehicles, 6 police officers and a lot of furtive looking around.

I hope nobody is hurt. I decided against stopping, since I was almost home and since my neighbour passed away last night (restfully, she was in her late 80s/early 90s), people might park in front of the gate which allows me to... park the car.

Maybe we'll read about it in the newspaper tomorrow. The baker at Steve's Unique Bakery had been shot 2-4 years ago in a robbery.

Then again, I might be completely wrong and they might just be hungry policemen going to Kentucky Fried Chicken...it's hard to tell sometimes.
