Knowledge is good, and the more you can get the more prepared you are to do what you're supposed to do. You're still going to make mistakes, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. That's what makes you original - your screw-ups. Anybody can learn how to do something the way someone else did it perfectly, but only you can mess it up in your own unique way.
