Trinidad and Tobago's Trade and Investment Convention 2008

Trade and Investment Convention 2008I had the opportunity to get to the Trade and Investment Convention (TIC), 2008 here in Trinidad and Tobago, and was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of things that suited my own context. There were many other things that were interesting but not contextual for me - things like the Ministry of Energy's massive booth (who talks to them?), the Costa Rican and Brazilian representations (for importers), etc.

TSTT had a massive booth - why, I don't know, but they did. Their subsidiary, bmobile, was handing out windshield glare protectors all over the parking lot (even offering passengers extras).

I stopped here and there, speaking with people and actually having a lot of interesting conversations - a lot more than I have had at past TICs. My focus, however, was on agriculture (which I am beginning to explore) and technology. Separate entries for both coming.
