What Is Up With MyWay.com Blocking KnowProSE.com?

Some things simply defy my understanding. You see, someone close to me has an email account on MyWay.com, and they seem very pleased with it. However, when I respond to these emails they get bounced back. Apparently their spam filters trap KnowProSE.com email - which is odd, because I do not send spam. I sent an email to them way back when, but they probably didn't get it... because they are blocking my email address.
So I continue getting these emails from a MyWay.com address, and most of the time I remember to respond to their Gmail account. Sometimes I forget and the email gets bounced back - and most of the time I simply don't bother resending. After all, the person knows that I have a problem with MyWay.com's ability to deal with emails and they keep sending from that account. Sure, one could argue that it is convenient for them, but their convenience is inconvenient for me. It is almost as if they do not want my responses - which I know, for a fact, is not true. Still, the net effect is the same.
Today, it happened again. I decided to head over to MyWay.com and find their contact form so that I could ping them on their mistaken blocking of my email address again - but lo! There is no place to contact them, it seems. So, what to do?
Well, first of all - blog about it. Stick it out in the open. I'd love to hear from someone at MyWay.com - perhaps they will be luckier than I at finding a means of contacting me.
Such as leaving a comment on this entry.
Until then, I think I will simply block all MyWay.com email addresses. What is good for the gander must be good for the goose. Eventually, someone might figure out I'm tired of having to deal with that idiocy. I figure I can't be the only one. Imagine if all the people blocked by MyWay.com blocked them as well... with as much of an explanation.

Another Good Idea Come to Naught...
I stumbled upon Myway.com several years ago and loved the idea of "No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding." I loved it so much I made it my home page. I believed in it so much that I've used Myway.com as my primary e-mail. I tutor computer basics to the older segment of my neighborhood, as well as those with one disability or another. When these folks wanted to set up e-mail accounts, I set them up on myway.com, because I really wanted to support this site. How much more loyal and supportive can a user get?
Several years ago my brother and one of my uncles and you, Taran all told me they were having trouble getting through to me on Myway.com. I was able to send a message to the folks at Myway.com at that time - as I believe you were. Primarily, at that time, the problem was with attachments and graphics sometimes - but not always - being blocked either coming in to my e-mail, or blocked when I tried to send such things to (at least) these people on my e-mail list.
I don't recall any of us who complained at that time recieved a proper answer with an explanation and/or solution. My spam settings remain at medium-high, and the spam blocker shows none of you people marked as spam.
So now I am going to have to go through the problems associated with establishing a different primary e-mail address, for myself as well as those folks for whom I set up accounts in my classes. What a shame. The concept of no pop-ups or banners is a good one, but if I cannot count on getting the e-mail sent to me at my myway.com account - what good is it to me?
So perhaps, Taran, if the myway.com folks read your message, they will also read mine. Your complaints are legitimate, as are mine. The difference is I am feeling betrayed by something I really made an effort to support. It's a real let-down.
Daily puzzles not updating
The daily puzzles appear to be stuck on 1/25/2008. Not just one of them, but all of them. What's up? Can you please fix it? Thanks!

NoWay email
Okay, don't laugh at my MyWay email addy. I still use it, as a 'throw-away' address when registering at an unknown site. And I still get store ads, tech newsletters, etc, along with tons of Spam. And worms. Every holiday that comes along, MyWay sees fit to let the latest Storm worm variant through to my Inbox, over a dozen 'Happy Valentines' so far. Even my old AOL account does better than that.
I would never trust anything important to MyWay email. I use the email provided by my ISP and the Thunderbird email client. I also have Gmail and Yahoo, but never use them.
I didn't 'stumble upon' MyWay, it came bundled as the homepage on a new Dell two years ago. I fell in love with it and have used it ever since. I also got involved in one of the many message boards: Tech Talk - Ask the Experts. Over a month ago people started having trouble getting in. Some got in by adding or changing a letter in their username and re-registering. For others, nothing worked. Some of the other boards crashed entirely, and it appears MyWay has no intention of reviving them. We got fed up, found a hosting site with way more features anyway, and started our own board. About 80 old-timers came with us.
MyWay's parent company, IAC Search Media is going through some changes, and I wouldn't be surprised if MyWay disappeared altogether. CEO Barry Diller is in the habit of making lots of money, and MyWay is no moneymaker. No ads at first, then 2 lame 'Google Sponsored Links' on the homepage (that I never see with Firefox and AdblockPlus).
Too bad if MyWay goes under. I won't miss the rest of it, but I will miss my homepage.

They are a bunch of amateurs
They are a bunch of amateurs period. I have two people who use myway and I cant and never have been able to send them emails. As far as I know any way there are loads of people leaving them. But what I do know is that despite their claims they use a system like Phorm which is basically ad tracking but much more intrusive than something like double click. So when you go about your biz even after closing myway your are getting popups because of the little phishing program myway leaves in your PC. They are also known to allow in all sorts of viruses. Really amateur lot at the end of the day

I can not get into my email account since the new face lift, and since I have had it for years I don't remember my pass word and the hint does't help either.
I can't find an address to contact the My Way people for help, soooo I now reach out to you.
Can anybody send me a contact address, or anything that would help me get back into my email.
I am a 65 Year old women with little (very little) computer smarts and the slightest change throwa me into a "Tizzy"....LOL

Since the new look, I've only
Since the new look, I've only been able to get into my account with them through Firefox. Opera will load the new look to about 70%, then freeze up. Haven't tried much with IE, but seemed to work ok the few times I have. Just, takes forever.

Another question: Why does it now have to download 2.1 megabytes of ... something or other, including an "application"... just to read a few 2kb emails? And just now, the application froze on me at 3% because it couldn't find one of its own registry files. I thing it's a case of ByebyeWay.com.

Not only do I echo the previous complaints, but I also lost 90% or more of my contact list since the change. I am now in the process of notifying people not to use my myway.com e-mail. Why bother!!!! I'll use another company who is far more reliable like gmail.
