Traveling By Ticabus from Costa Rica to Panama

Instead of taking a flight to Panama from Costa Rica, I decided to try the bus - namely, Ticabus. The trip, round trip, costs $50 U.S, and takes about 16 hours.

Why did I decide to do this? First, it's a new thing to experience and a part of a world I had never seen. There are also different people on buses; not better or worse but simply different. And as I was to find out, they are typically more friendly.

I took a taxi to the Ticabus station in San Jos
