I use internet radio stations on my parcels of land in SecondLife, like many other people. And I get stations I like more than I can find here in Trinidad and Tobago. So when I heard an ad for SaveNetRadio.org, I was kind of disturbed. Just a few months ago it was Network Neutrality.
Now starving recording company executives are trying to get more 'royalties' for music - do we really think that the artists will see much of that?
What really sucks is that, again, this is US-centric though it affects the entire world.
But, within SecondLife, you can help spread the word. Through SLExchange.com, I've made a prim available at no cost that links to the SaveNetRadio website. It's here, and is freely copyable. Get it. Share it with your friends. Spread the word.
Save the music.
