Lucrezia Ah update

This is a continuance of the fundraising which has evolved due to Lucrezia Ah's situation. At this time, there is 96120L total donated from the community, with me holding 55,644L held for Lucrezia Ah at this time. I'll update this entry as more comes in, as the comments on the previous post have gone over one page.

I must really say that I did not expect such a community response from people within SecondLife, and it is VERY cool to see it. At 117,000L in donations, the land can be sold at 21 L/m and Lucrezia Ah breaks even - and at 519,000 L, she can purchase the land back herself. I am not holding the land - Chaos Mohr is - so any decisions related to that are between Lucrezia Ah, Chaos Mohr and maybe a little by me. It really depends on whether Lucrezia Ah wants her land back, as far as I can tell.

And, to this time, there has been no word from Landbaron Merlin or LindenLab.

At this time, we have surpassed 127,000L in donations for Lucrezia Ah. Everyone who has contributed even 1 Linden has become a shareholder in this problem - and a shareholder in a community that acknowledges the problem.

Raising 127K Lindens in a day is just. Wow. I mean, really. If the community can raise 127K this fast... it shows that the community is interested and has VOTED with their Lindens. And everyone who has been a part of this will not forget.

So - here is what is happening. The land has been priced at 929,944L - a fair price for what it is - and any other donations will work toward decreasing the price.

Here is how the numbers work out, for those in the Peanut Gallery:

540,000 - 21,000 = 519,000 L : this is the difference created by Landbaron Merlin.

Chaos Mohr and myself (combined) put up 540,000L to hold the land. Therefore, we will get our money back - but if you check the records, we have donated on top of this.

so the total price of the land, without donations, is 519,000L + 540,000L = 1,059,000 L

Minus donations: 1,059,000 - 127,040L= 931,960L.

Priced at 929,944 there should be no question as to the integrity of this.
