Nobody's Not A Socialist
Now, you call me anti-capitalist, Prokstereo. That's not true. I'll gladly take your money. But you see, you're of a different generation, and probably lived pretty well all your life. Considering your linguistic background, I can see how socialist would continuously pop into your head.
Free Software and Open Source aren't socialist in nature. In fact, they're more democratic. The same with open content. So... no. Attacking me that way just shows your age, and unfortunately, your maturity level.
For the record, I'm more interested in Participatory democracy. I realize that this may be something you disagree with, but that's ok. I understand your confusion. I don't empathize with it. I don't sympathize with it. But I understand, and I can tell you that it's going to be OK. :-)
Taking cracks at Anshe
No, this wasn't a crack at Anshe. It just seems interesting that the advertiser at the top left of the [t:SecondLifeHerald] is... the same one that always leaks stuff so that you'll publish it for them. In fact, that's genius and shows that she and her company know what they're doing.
It also shows how you get stuff printed in the SecondLife Herald that isn't borderline. Still have a sheep fetish, Prok? Maybe if the Electric Sheep had an ad over there, you'd play nice. But instead... well... you're so much better at making that point than I am. So get to it, and with vigor.
Oh, and you said something about the 'Asian invasion' being 'racist? Read this. If you have further problems with your ability to navigate web links - seek professional help, for I fear I will only make fun of you and make matters worse.

Feel free to link to any of my stuff and comment, [t:Prokofy Neva]. See, you don't worry me. I've dealt with people like you before. It takes you 12 paragraphs to say anything, and even then it comes across as droll. That's ok. Maybe you have a following. Maybe you could help some of the Russians come in and start up in SL. Whatever you want to do, have at it.
But honestly, Prok, if there's anyone you should be watching - it should be yourself. I'll let you run on and on, and eventually you'll probably go too far. You have a habit of doing so. In the grand scheme of things... you don't matter to me except when you go off half-cocked and get people stirred up for... no reason.
Thanks for web hits from your readers. I don't expect them to stay; I refuse to lower my standards to yours - but I shall try to convert them from your name-calling harangues. That's the human thing to do.

Okay - I give up.....
I read here at least daily, and I see an awful lot of commenting and response regarding Prokofy Neva. So just who is this Prokofy Neva person and how does she warrant so much attention? Yeah, I took the link trail and visited her site - I am not overly impressed with her skills as a writer, nor with her opinion. Is she some sort of technical guru? Has she researched and written a book of some sort that applies here? She is so critical. Does she review books? Grade test papers? Test drive Kia vans?
I may have left SL because it is beyond me - I never claimed to be a techie! - but even I understand the concept of global sharing!
Meanwhile - can you talk about something else for a while?

See, Prokofy Neva is one of the 'famed individuals' in SecondLife, and if she hadn't started posting on me I wouldn't have done the two posts.
And it's ONLY two posts, so 'talking about something else for a while' is actually 'get over the hiccough'. No sweat, I just don't have anything to write right now. Kind of doing other things. :-)

Second Thought
The thing is, there are some among us who believe they know all sorts of things about other people - even folk they have never met face to face. At the risk of appearing to get into the head of one such (Good Lord, why would I want to go there?)I feel one who lays claim to such intimacy is generally known, in some circles, as a pompous ass.
Actually, though -- perhaps 85 % is a little high in the figuring. And of late, of course, it is probably far, far less. 93% of communication, after all, is non-verbal...
