The Millionaire of SL, and What It Means (Updated)
Update: This post is also contextual
Well, it's common knowledge by now. Anshe Chung is a millionaire according to this Herald exclusive. Still no press release. It's 2:33 a.m. on Sunday in China as I write this. 'Tomorrow' could mean Sunday in China, I suppose.
Well, who needs a press release when you can have an advertorial? I suppose that is part of being a millionaire; not even issuing one's own press releases. Usually the most prominent advertising is the most expensive. Top left of any web page is definitive real estate, and a SecondLife tabloid is no different.
But the million dollars in assets is based on... ah. That's the next part of being a millionaire: deciding the value of your holdings when you can control the pricing.
I enjoy a rags to riches story as much as anyone else, but - come on. At least do your own press releases, and when you do, do it in a place where anyone who disagrees with Prokaroni doesn't get called a socialist. Laughable. Shameless advertorials and name calling. :-)

Ahh. The Press Release.
Anshe Chung Becomes First Virtual World Millionaire
However, it's flawed. She and her corporation are mixed together into something which would allow easy piercing of a corporate veil. I'm sure she knows what she's doing.
Like I really care. O.o
