Press Release: KnowProSE.com Office in SecondLife

KnowProSE.com Office During the DaySAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO -- (KnowProSE.com) -- November 23, 2006 -- Today, KnowProSE.com launches an office within SecondLife for no good reason other than to release an amusing press release and have a place to hang out, just like the other folks in SecondLife who are pulling in more more money than the number of prims they have rezzed.

The plans for the KnowProSE.com office include (but are not limited to) amusing itself when nobody (and Nobody) is looking. It may also be used as a place for chatting, meetings, and taunting passing spaceships from the nearby shipyard. It may also be used as an area for meeting people related to inworld contract work and RL contract work, though revenues are not expected to be near $100 US/hr. Some minor displays may be shown now and then, but really aren't expected to have any impact on the virtual world of SecondLife's economic statistics. No changes on the NYSE are expected, but a general advisory has gone out for people to buy low and sell high.

Anyone who logs in and creates a free basic membership in Second Life (www.secondlife.com) will be able to come into SecondLife and wander around in newbie clothing until they find some free clothing at the Shelter, and if female, at the Free Dove (search for them using the Search button at the bottom of the screen. No, not now, when you load SecondLife). At some point, you can search for KnowProSE, select the teleport button, and be awed. Well, maybe not, but you'll get to the office. There are chairs and other things to sit in, and if you try hard enough you can fall out of it. There are a few things to click, but nothing spectacular. There are no cars, drafting boards for building computers, big announcements, cute corporate monkeys or plots for world domination. We want to keep your expectations down so that you may be pleasantly surprised if a penguin shows up.

In a display of generosity for the poor people who have no land, KnowProSE.com has not bought an island but instead is using a simple 512 m plot purchased from a furry fox for 4500L after negotiations in snow.

Second Life was developed by San Francisco-based Linden Lab, a privately held company founded in 1999 to create a revolutionary new form of synthetic world. It offers a collaborative, immersive, and open-ended entertainment experience where residents can create and inhabit a virtual environment of their own design.

The KnowProSE.com Office was built by OneOfMe, Disincorporated. Credit goes to Nobody. You can find it here: Muralis 203,56,301.
