CopyBot Protests In Progress

is causing all sorts of furor in SecondLife. Businesses are closed. At least one entire sim is closed. The thought that someone can arbitrarily copy someone else's creations has scared and/or angered a lot of people.

I got IM'd in world to join the protest, and when I finally did get there, it crashed. I'll post my own thoughts on this in a while, but if you're interested in joining the protest - search groups for:

COPYBOT

And you will find 3 groups. 1 presently has 27 members, one has 227 members, and one has 1 member - the latter being 'CopyBot Is Gay' which is amusing in that gay couples cannot procreate.

Have at it, if you so desire.

Personally, I don't see crowding a sim as effective protest. The closing of the businesses and sim(s) is.
