Team 'Save Trinidad' Introduced

Kwesi over at The Initiative Against Crime went ahead and introduced the team of bloggers - I'm an invisible blogger over there, as Kwesi said, and in spirit I am following along and appreciating the fact that there are some in Trinidad and Tobago's blogosphere who will go ahead and write about the tough issues - and discuss them in a public forum. We don't always agree, but at least we do discuss - which is something which, until lately, was severely lacking.

It's not a political blog, and it's not a political team - in fact, the team after being introduced is really very diverse! 2 band members of Solaris, a local band here in Trinidad and Tobago, are in there - as well as a student who is doing exams, another person who is behind MayaroBeach.com, and still another in Barbados - and, of course, Kwesi, the Humble Hacker who gives his fingers a sweat daily, racing across his keyboard one way or the other.

As a blogging crew in Trinidad and Tobago goes, that's fairly diverse - and with an open invitation for Trinibloggers to join in and discuss things, it can only get more interesting. I'm pretty happy that it happened (props to Kwesi), pretty happy it's continuing, and really digging the conversations over there - where people are interested in Trinidad and Tobago moving forward in more than just the World Cup in Germany.
