Grr. May Have To Roll Back to Drupal 4.6.6
It looks like my switch to the new Drupal may have been too early. I'm bleary-eyed right now, and have been tweaking this and that, but the general experience has been *ugly*. The errors I got were simply weird. First, the blocks disappeared - and that was because of something that I have already forgotten. I fixed that, and everything kept rolling out.
This has to be the harshest upgrade of Drupal I have ever been through.
Two of the main modules that I used do not work; the Interwiki module and the Quotes module.
The way that the nodes have changed means that I get to rewrite some code for the Quotation book I had been working on. W00t. Right.
So I'm tired, generally unhappy, and looking at tossing 150 megabytes of database back up the small upload pipe I have... this is NOT fun. I'll look at my email when I wake up, see whether there is a fix/upgrade for Interwiki or not, and if not will decide if I know enough about all the changes to the Drupal code base to upgrade it myself if I have to. If I stick it out, then I'll go back to the quote book and change code in all those nodes...
Despite all the new stuff with 4.7, I may have to go back to 4.6.6.
This upgrade hurt.
Goodnight.
