Leaving Tampa area in a few hours.

It's been interesting coming back - seeing how people have changed over time, how places have changed, and so on.

So what did I do here in Florida? Well, I saw my friends. I worked out of coffee shops, and met new people that I hope to see again.

What's most funny is that I didn't buy one book. Not one. I walked around the bookstores, inhaling the shelves - but I did not buy a book. The first is that books are something I can order wherever I am. The same applies to most things.

I like travelling light.

I'm amazed at how expensive things are in the U.S., though. Not electronics and stuff - simple things. Food. Rent. Stuff like that.

During a conversation today with a new friend, Tim, we discussed U.S. government apolitically - like the fact that I can't vote in a primary because I'm not Democrat or Republican. And we were talking about economics, and sheer common sense - and what isn't being done - and as we are doing this, a homeless man comes up and starts telling us he's sick while he's smoking a cigarette.

The American media is a homeless man smoking a cigarette complaining he's sick. Think about it.

But stuff like that happened a lot... fodder for future writing, but not consequential enough to write about for each instance.

I was surprised at how many people have been following this weblog. I didn't know. Hello everyone, see you later. :-)
