Last Blog From Trinidad
In 3 hours, I leave for the airport - to arrive there by 6 a.m., and to leave Piarco International around 8 a.m...
And this is the last entry in Trinidad and Tobago. But it's not the last entry about Trinidad and Tobago - some reflection on my time here will come in time. It's already starting, but I don't have the time to do that right now. I have a hard drive to rip out, and a room to sweep out. Coffee to drink. Stuff like that.
What I will say is that it has been a beneficial experience - the last 4 years in Trinidad and Tobago. Not necessarily good or bad, but it's been beneficial in many ways. First, family. The ups and downs of family are weird to say the least, but for me it's family that has taught me most about myself - probably since I'm not a socialite.
Next would be - me. Not in a manner of finance, or what have you - but in having *time*, and increasing the discipline to be productive within that time without direction from someone else.
And last but not least would be the experience itself.
There are people who are glad that I am going, for different reasons. Some are glad to see me grow, some are glad to see me go. The latter is amusing to me. The former is heartening.
Some are sad to see me go. In the grand scheme of things, I was never really here anyway - I'm never really mentally where I am physically (I have references), so maybe that doesn't matter. But nobody should be sad. On the internet, I'm at the same place.
In a few hours, I'm a completely virtually stationed person. That's so cool.
Well - back to the final touches. Everyone - stay well, stay sane, and keep out of trouble. I'll update when I have a chance.
