A quick note here that has to do with ARCTX - which I just emailed the list on and apologized for being delayed.

Toji Leon points to this - IITians Develop Linux-Based Cell Phone Tracking Software.

There's just not enough time right now... But I'll try to get that Wiki page on ARCTX back up. For those who missed it, there was a hiccough in the DigitalDivide Wiki which has been fixed for about 2 weeks.

There is cell phone tracing technology, which requires access to the infrastructure. It's triangulation. Access to that sort of software is typically kept out of reach of the average person.

Basically, if you have to ask - you don't have access.

Track a phone on my cell plan

I would like to find a way to track or geolocate the other phone on my cell phone plan. My girlfriend uses the phone and I just want to make sure she is being honest with me. I travel ALOT on business.

Why you would want that. I could see a legitimate use in an office setting, but even that seems to be a stretch. It seems more of an invasion of privacy to me.
