OK. So eAsylum.net ain't up yet.

Grr. For some reason, something went really odd. The good news is that - have backups of database, will travel. But I am committed to moving eAsylum.net forward at this time - call it bullheadedness - so I'll do a full up fresh install on the morrow and import the data from the backup database.

In honesty, I could do it tonight but eAsylum.net is a hobby. And as usual, you learn interesting stuff with your hobby... what I will be doing on the morrow is actually figuring out what was wrong. This builds up into a silly little thing called experience, which of course is supposed to be something that people who are editors and writers and programmers and users and... well anyway, someone like me is supposed to have.

The good news is that in a twisted way, I love this. It's been a while since something didn't work right, and there's something stimulating about it.

But on another note, I don't know what I'll do with eAsylum.net in the future. Go figure.

Some interesting stuff in some email salvos today... will have to blog that tommorow. Hopefully with better news of what havoc I have wrought on eAsylum.net. :-)
