Bern Williams
Bern Williams doesn't seem to exist. Who can list any books by him, or refer to any interviews or achievements? He only exists as a name attached to quotes, but there are no works from which the quotes come.

I'm facing the same situation.
Amazon lists some (2)books, but that does not help with the origin of the quotes.
This is a curiosity.
I'll leave it here to see if someone can nail down this origin, but I think we can fairly say that it is in question.

Try "Sir Bernard Arthur Owen
Try "Sir Bernard Arthur Owen Williams" or some combination of those names. Apparently he is better known as Bernard or Arthur Owen. He was an British philosopher and Oxford professor.
