Please don't use ARC unless you are a volunteer

Somehow, the information to post to ARC has gotten all over the web, and that was NEVER the intention. It's supposed to be a closed system. It's rather annoying that this slipped past, but it's important that it be fixed so that only authorized folks use the ARC. It seems a lot of people, including myself, are happy that it works but nobody really seems to understand HOW it's supposed to work. Something for me to write about, I guess.

So far, the information has been posted on the South East Asia Earthquake and Tsunami Blog, and ChiensSansFrontiers, and mirrored in places like Smart Mobs, WorldChanging.com, Boing Boing, and so on...

Everybody forgets where this got started from. *sigh*... I wasn't the only one, but over the last 48 hours I've been harping this, and how it should be used. ICT Robustness was one of the roots of this idea that simply never got implemented before/during/after Hurricane Ivan.

The answer? Don't go to sleep before people understand how something is supposed to be used.
