Support & Training

I support various operating systems and applications for small, medium and large businesses in Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, and Internationally. Operating systems supported include:
- GNU/Linux: Commonly called 'Linux', GNU/Linux has a long history as a rock solid operating system.
- Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, etc: The most used operating systems in the world - at least at the time of this writing.
The software which I support and train people on use of is Free Software. This is not only because of my personal philosophy: It's a matter of having the ability to support the software through being able to modify the source code for my clients.
These software packages include:
- Drupal: A powerful Content Management System which can be used on the internet, on an intranet, and even on a desktop. Myriads of applications have yet to be imagined for this software. Windows and GNU/Linux
- GNU Enterprise: An Enterprise solution for businesses, which include many packages. This includes the following:
- Financials: core financial and management accounting package.
- Customer Relations: Sales, marketing and customer support.
- Forecasting: Budgeting and forward planning.
- Human Resources: Personnel, payroll and other HR functions.
- Manufacturing: Producing products for your customers.
- Project Management: Managing estimates and bids through to completion.
- Sales: Record and monitor sales performance.
- Supply Chain: Manage the flow of information and materials to fulfill customer orders.
- DCL(Double Chocco Latte): Project management and call tracking
- Packages Documentation: Documentation about the GNUe Packages.
At this time and for the foresseable future, GNU Enterprise is available for GNU/Linux only.
- MySQL: An award winning database as used on one of the busiest websites in the world - Slashdot.org (around 7-8 million visitors a day).
- OpenOffice.org: A suite of office applications which is a superb alternative to Microsoft's Office Software. Truly multiplatform, and with completely Open Standards, OpenOffice.org is available at little or no cost (you can download it at no cost). I wrote a 'OpenOffice 1.1 Competitive Guide SMB Segment' article, which highlights some of the benefits as compared to Microsoft's competing products. I use OpenOffice. I know how to use OpenOffice, and can train others to do so. And, if needed, I can integrate OpenOffice in your business solutions.Any Operating System
- SQL Ledger Accounting (New!): SQL-Ledger is a double entry accounting system which can meet the needs of many small to medium size businesses. Multiplatform.
As I research and implement more solutions for clients, the software applications will be added to the list.
