Awaking To The San Fernando Hill Bird Choir: Subtle Starts
Focusing on the San Fernando Bird's Choir podcasts right now... the 0530 jumbie bird file is a short file before the sun came up, where you can hear the small owl (jumbie bird) about to hand over to the day birds. San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago.
The 0605 a.m. file has everyone beginning to wake up, and at 6:15 a.m. you begin to hear a little more volume. The 'blowing' you hear is actual wind as the sun's hot air creates the high pressure which drives air this way to where the sun has not touched.
I have some Enigma playing in my headphones low, mixing with the microphone, as I sit outside with the laptop, and the microphone far enough away not to pick up my keystrokes.
There are a few more recordings coming, but I want to break them up so that people with slower connections can download them easily. I could easily record 4 hours of this, but the file size would be at least 219.6 megabytes. Consider this just a few sounds of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean that I enjoy...
Time for more coffee. :-)
