[RANT] Why Isn't SeaMonkey on the Front Page of Mozilla.org?

So, the frog interviews the 2 robots. The protocol droid says that he uses FireFox. The engineering droid beeps and whistles .

The frog probably uses Internut Exploder.

But probably the most interesting question asked during an imaginary interview is how the engineering droid even found SeaMonkey.

It's not on the Mozilla.org front page, unless you look down and find the announcement. It's not in the . But if you go to the page... no. It's not there either.

So... SeaMonkey is the redheaded stepchild of the . I like it even more. But when it's not listed under products, and the Mozilla Foundation is pimping FireFox and Thunderbird over a (gasp!) community project that takes up where they left off... well, they could be at least good sports.

I can't wait for the next release of SeaMonkey. In fact, once I get my finances squared away (if I ever do), I might even put my shoulder into the community project. At the least, I'll continue to advocate the integrated solution.

Remember when open source was a phrase that meant more than selling stuff? By the way, if you download that FireFox Google thingie, it's out of date. Might as well go to the MozillaFoxBirdMonkey site and get it.
