More On Asia's Devastation

As I mentioned earlier, there's a lot to be concerned about regarding the tsunami that has struck the coastline of Asia. The death toll continues to rise - but instead of just focusing my writing here, the WorldChanging.com crew is collaborating. Therefore the really good stuff regarding it are over there. We have two of our collaborators in the affected region.

Some samples, as of this time:

Tsunami's In Asia - The Morning After is a good write up by Dina.

Rohit Gupta wrote Kanyakumari Collaborates, which shows how the aid is working in India - and also references his his friend's weblog.

The Worldchanging responses to the Tsunami Disasters shows how you can help - and also allows a center for active discussion on what can be done.

The entry Tsunami in Southeast Asia: A Summary Report is full of helpful links.

A few of you are probably wondering what I am doing... and I am working on two separate things related to this tsunami, though perhaps not as emergent. The fact of the matter is - there are people who need help, and there's not much I can immediately do at this time but help get the word out. What I will be writing will not be as helpful in the short term - but hopefully it will be useful in restructuring in the long term.

Keep tuned to WorldChanging.com for the latest updates. There's no excuse for not reading it. ;-)
