Blog Alert Box system change

Due to an accidental severing of the delivery mechanism utilized by this system, service has been interrupted. In order to continue your participation in the Blog Alert Box system (and we hope you will) you will need to make the following changes to your code.

Where the two URLs appear in your code that contain app.feeddigest. the one that ends in .js will need to be replaced with http://app.feeddigest.com/digest3/PASU8KN5L9.js and the one that ends in .html will need to be replaced with http://app.feeddigest.com/digest3/PASU8KN5L9.html

Those changes have been made to the code snippet below, so if you are using this system for the first time feel free to simply grab the code as it appears below. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for participating in the CPB Blog Alert Box system. It was my fault. -Marshall

Earlier in the week there was a discussion about other people reposting
articles from this site about bloggers in danger - to act like what we
in the U.S. call a phone-tree. A community system to quickly
amplify a message.

To serve that purpose I've built a little code-snippet you can copy and
paste into the template of your blog. It will automatically
display any new CPB Blog Alerts, via headlines and short descriptions
of the emergency as posted on the CPB site. Only items from the catagory BlogAlerts will appear.

The Alerts will appear in a little box that can be
anywhere on your site you chose, probably the sidebar. You can
see one example of what it looks like on the left sidebar
of this page. The text colors and fonts will automatically match
those used on your page.

I think this can serve as an exciting way to keep you and your readers
as up-to-the-minute as possible about any bloggers in danger around the
world. It's also a way to help build awareness and support of the
Committee to Protect Bloggers and its work.
