As I sat around this evening trying to solve other problems, I decided to change direction a bit and seriously look into automatic translations with Drupal. Now, as you can see to the left, I have automatic translation enabled for this site. It looks real impressive until you use it in a real scenario that isn't on the home page.
The problem is that when you click the translation, the translation happens for the home page (KnowProSE.com) instead of the particular article that someone wants to read. This is a problem that I finally set my mind to figure out, and it's possible if I can figure out how to check the current link within Drupal.
Not a hack
Now, bear in mind that this is a kluge I'm trying as far as language translation - automatic language translation sucks, for the most part. Bite the wax tadpole may not be true, but it can be true if you really have some fun with an automatic translation engine. Try one:
