Why I Don't Support PayPal

I've written before why PayPal is useless, and though it was years ago I found recently that I had to revisit it. This isn't about PayPal warnings or PayPal sucks.

Maybe it should be, 'PayPal Discriminates Based on Geography of Billing Information'.

Recently, I was looking into some of these AdSense eBooks, and wanted to write something about whether they were worthwhile or not. As such, I decided on 3 different eBooks, and tried to purchase the eBooks - but I couldn't. While my bank account is in the United States, my billing address is presently in Trinidad and Tobago - which isn't on their list, and isn't something that they feel should be added. In fact, if you look at the list of countries that they deal with, you might note that quite a few countries are missing.

As such, I didn't get the eBooks - which I really did want to look at to see (to validate or invalidate as necessary) - and conversely, they did not get my money. This is similar to small nations and the problem of postage.

When I see a PayPal sign, I immediately leave the site because I know I can't buy. A better solution is needed... I'm hoping for something like Google's possibilities for online payments, myself.

But if you don't want to sell me a product, here's what to do:

Use PayPal.

RE:Why I Don't Support PayPal

Paypal has a lot of pros and then there is this one major Con! I currently only do business via paypal. If there is any other solution that would be economical for businessmen like me to do business with smaller countries like Trinidad & Tobago please do not hesitate to inform us. I have been waiting for word on another solution to this major con for years.
