The Rodent Torch Strikes Back

A US man who threw a mouse onto a pile of burning leaves could only watch in horror as it ran into his house and set the building ablaze...

There's a lesson here for a few different perspectives. It's so easy to have fun with this one, that I will. I obviously am sad to hear about someone losing their house, and a mouse meeting such a gruesome demise, but... how many people do you know would throw a *live* creature into a fire? And, if we were to do that, would we expect it to sit still?

I guess this guy didn't see the Green Mile.

• SQUEAK, I tell you, SQUEAK!
• 'When burning rodents, please make sure that all house doors are closed.' - to be tattooed on all rodents.
• Who let the mice out?
• Flame ON!

No matter how I look at this, I can't see how this sensibly could have happened....
