Happy New Year.
With a simple wave of it's hands, the clock symbolically waves us into a New Year - 2006.
I feel slightly 2006ish.
I'm not out partying - instead, opening up Stage 1 of OpenDepth.com within the next 15 minutes... I didn't get as much work done as I wanted to, but technically it's ready and I expect I won't go to bed until I'm done with Henry Ford's 'My Life and Work'. Working for one's self, on one's own schedule, is a difficult though somewhat rewarding thing.
Some say that what you are doing at the start of the New Year defines what you will do for the rest of the year. I see it this way - what I am doing at the start of this year means I won't have to do it at the start of another year.
As far as a thought to start the year with - may this year be productive for all of us, in tangible ways... may we move forward, in tangible ways... and may we, despite ourselves, live our lives fully and allow those around to do so.
Now, back to work...
