Some of the works I have found available for Nikola Tesla are now online, including:
- Phenomena of Alternating Currents of Very High Frequency (Feb. 21, 1891): Interesting read - considering that since then, these experiments have become so unimportant to people all over the world who simply turn things on and off in their homes - and don't know that a little over 100 years ago, this fellow largely made it possible.
- Experiments with Alternate Currents of High Potential and High Frequency, by Nikola Tesla
- On the Dissipation of the Electrical Energy of the Hertz Resonator (Dec 21, 1892)
- On Electricity (Jan 12, 1897)
: A long and well documented read on how Tesla actually came to some of the conclusions he did.
: Even electrical engineering language has changed a bit, and referencing the Wikipedia can come in quite handy.
There are a few others, my favorite being The Problem of Increasing Human Energy,With Special References to the Harnessing of the Sun's Energy (June 1900) - where he begins hinting at how electricity could be used to increase the quality of life of people. 105.5 years later, and this is still not fully realized.
Amazing fellow. And a personal friend of Mark Twain. More stuff coming soon on OpenDepth.com...
